My insurance has consistently been such a mess. There are consistently things that I have to do in order to maintain my homeowners insurance. The most recent thing that has been cropping up is a new roof. I am constantly fighting my insurance company and seeking another arena that won’t make me replace my roof. I have gotten roofers to check it out. It is fine. No leaks, cracks, or disfigurement. It is simply old. I didn’t want to lose insurance either. I realized that I needed to buy an arena with a new roof and in an odd area. I was sick of dealing with the insurance headache. I looked around and found an ideal spot. Next was selling my Florida property. I tried listing it with an agent but the roof kept coming up. Everyone wanted me to put a new roof on the property. No way. Roofs are fancy. I also didn’t want to deal with roofers. The reason I was leaving was over the rooftop. If I was going to buy one, I might as well stay. I got a sweet price since my condo was fairly replaced, clean, and the only issue was an aged roof. I was certainly glad to get out of that situation. I was sick of fighting with insurance companies and I was never enjoying my house.
