Ready to start a new way of life

After retiring from my task, I made some major changes in my life.

I realized that I’d been residing according to a hectic schedule for far too long.

I was exhausted from the stress and frustrated with never having enough time to do the things to do. The majority of the money I earned from the task went straight into my house, so keeping up with energy bills, service and repairs was a drain on my time and my budget… Right about the time that I retired, the apartment needed a new roof and a new water heater. There was a leak in the pool liner and recurring concerns with the septic. The washing machine, dryer, refrigerator and air conditioner were on the verge of requiring replacement. I decided to sell the apartment and move into a much smaller apartment. I wanted someone else to handle the lawncare and repairs. I was ready to travel and experience new places. The thought of dealing with a house inspection, a realtor and all of the hassle of selling an apartment sounded awful. I was eager to start my new way of life. I suspected that several of the problems with the apartment would need to be fixed before a potential buyer could secure financing. There would be closing costs and the realtor would take a percentage of my profit. Rather than deal with all of that, I found a company in Jacksonville that buys homes for currency. They aren’t distraught with the condition of the house. They don’t require a house inspection. I was able to go online, fill out some basic information and get a currency offer that same afternoon. Within ten days, I had packed up and moved out of the house.
