It seems unbelievable that I sold my condo in Colorado Springs in less than a week, then especially since the condo was in desperate need of a up-to-date roof, water heater, gutters, windows and HVAC system.
I simply filled out an online form with basic information pertaining to the property. I submitted the contact form to a local currency buyer who purchases homes in the section in as-is condition, the supplier reached out within a few hours to arrange a walkthrough of the home. We tied up for the following day and a representative of the currency condo buyer showed up right on time. They were absolutely friendly, knowledgeable and forthcoming. I was able to ask questions and get straightforward answers… Once the tour of the condo was completed, I immediately acquired a currency offer. There was no obligation. I was given time to consider the offer. Once I accepted, my pal and I tied up a time to close the currency sale. We were able to set up the closing for forty-eight hours later. The currency condo buyer managed all of the complex paperwork. There was absolutely little to do. I didn’t need to clean the house, make repairs or deal with a condo inspection. I didn’t pay closing fees or a realtor commission. I acquired the full amount at the closing, and rather than invest time, currency and effort into a house that I was desperate to sell, I was able to walk away from it free and clear. I have been told that I could have gotten a higher price if I had sold by way of a conventional listing. That might be true, but it would have required significant expense. I’d have needed to deduct the cost of the numerous repairs, replaces, inspections, fees and commissions. I guess I made out quite well.
