My uncle was a hoarder. He had a house that was filled with projects. He used to buy a lot of broken down machines, because he thought he could fix them and sell them for cats. Most of the time, the junk ended up in a pile on the front porch. There was barely any room to walk from the outside of the house to the inside of the house because of all of the junk and broken machines that were piled up on the front porch. My uncle died last year and he left the house and the property to my mom. My mom is almost 70 years old. She really can’t travel, so she sent me to look at the house in Jacksonville, Florida. I was totally amazed and disgusted by the shape of the house. I didn’t want to walk inside of the home at all and there was no way that my mom could sell the house the way that it was. All of the jokes needed to be removed and the house needed to be cleaned from the top to the bottom. It was going to take a lot of work to clean up the Jacksonville, Florida home and my mom didn’t have the time or energy. While I was in Jacksonville, I contacted a company that buys hoarder properties for cash. I spoke with the Jacksonville real estate buyer and gave him more information about the property. I also sent about 20 or 30 pictures of the place. After a couple of days, the Jacksonville real estate buyer called me back with a cash offer on the house. My mom decided to take the offer so she didn’t have to deal with the awful mess.
